Cafe 211 + Frolick

Yay! One of my favourite times- dinner with Gek, Glenn, Sher and this time round, we have the company of Graham!

Poor Grams. He has been under tremendous stress from work. Nevertheless, I think it is good because this is how he become more "man". Heh. In anycase, I hope he felt better after the dinner + yogurt treat. ;)

I knew of Cafe 211 long time ago with colleagues from UWS. Jane brought me and Shirley there and I fell in love with the place. It is in Holland V and after that, I didn't have a chance to return. Till lately, through conversations between my colleagues and I and also through Samuel Lee, the place still exist!

Maybe when I was younger, everything seems more interesting and memorable. Now that I went there with the rest, I don't seem to think it is as lovely as I used to remember...

As usual, 6 of us 6 main course to be shared.
Like I once said and I think I will always mention, I never like sharing of food but somehow, this habit introduced by Gek and cultivated by us made me appreciate sharing of food.

Because they were sooo hungry, 2 appetizers were ordered as well.

Then we talked about Gram's stressful work, Glenn's intolerable colleagues, my Nick (what's new) and merciless teasing from them on me. =(

Main course!



Then we decided to order dessert. Nick called me and checked on some school stuff and so for 8 minutes, I was talking to him and the rest went ahead to order dessert.

They made me guess what they ordered and I got Gek's and Sher's favourite dessert wrong!

Gek brought her DSLR camera out and some nice portrait shots were taken.

Definitely, a group picture must be taken. So we tried.



Aiyoh! Sher is so skinny that a pole can block her. Thus, we moved forward and manage to take a proper picture.



And this is one of the many parts I received merciless treatment from them.

"Let's take a group picture, without Wei Ching".
"A help us take picture Wei Ching".

Or that when Gramham was moving forward to the 2nd picture, he intentionally stood infront of me blocking me completely from the camera!

Why my life so poor thing?

Although we 4 already have a lovely picture from the gathering, I still wanted it.



Glenn then had to rush off and we decided to go try Frolick, the new fad for yogurt lately.



Well, I think I don't quite enjoy yogurt except for Yammi Yogurt.

Hope to find one day one yogurt that makes me worship it like a cult and made me finish everything up.

For this dinner, each of us made plans after that so it was a pity we couldn't stay on for drinks and do more catching up.

Still, I had a good time like I always do and I can't wait for the next one! When Sher is back frm Bkk?
